Pedicure prices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with extras explained

Pedicure prices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, in the menus we checked on 3 November 2026, run from AED 95 to AED 135 for a regular-polish pedicure and AED 160 to AED 175 for a gel pedicure. Those figures come from Mimosa in Barsha Heights, Dubai, and Savá in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, and they exclude gel removal, which both salons charge separately.

This is a small sample, not a citywide average or a minimum. Mimosa states that its prices include VAT. Savá's services page says nothing about VAT, so any total you calculate from it needs confirming with the salon. These are published menu prices, not quotes, so check again before you book.

Savá also lists a classic pedicure without polish at AED 100, and Smart options at AED 155 without polish and AED 185 with regular polish. The Polish Salon figures are separate line items, so classic plus regular polish comes to AED 80 and classic plus gel to AED 125. Confirm that those add-ons apply to a pedicure before you rely on that.

Removal is the charge people forget

If you arrive wearing old gel, removal is usually its own line. Mimosa charges AED 20 for soak-off, Savá AED 30 and Polish Salon AED 40. Next Level charges AED 20 if you book it before another service and AED 40 on its own, so a removal-only visit costs double.

Next Level also separates gel-polish removal from hard-gel removal, at AED 60 before a service or AED 80 alone. Do not assume hard-gel removal costs the same as ordinary gel removal. Tell the salon what is on your nails when you book.

Please do not pick the gel off yourself. The American Academy of Dermatology advises against it and suggests arranging removal with a nail professional. If you want to read more about why gel is popular, we cover it in why gel pedicures are trending in Dubai.

VAT can change the final bill

The UAE Federal Tax Authority gives 5% as the standard VAT rate, and says VAT registrants must advertise consumer prices inclusive of VAT, menus included. So a menu price marked as inclusive should not have another 5% added. If you want to know how much tax is inside such a price, divide it by 21.

In practice, menus differ. Mimosa says VAT is included. Next Level states that its prices are subject to 5% VAT, which means AED 180 becomes AED 189 and AED 230 becomes AED 241.50. We treat that as a discrepancy in one menu, not proof that prices may normally be shown without VAT. Savá and Polish Salon say nothing either way, so ask for a written final quote.

See the full total for one gel pedicure

Menu arithmetic shows how far the headline price can sit from the real one, assuming you need removal.

- Mimosa: AED 160 gel plus AED 20 soak-off is AED 180. Add the AED 90 callus treatment and it is AED 270.

- Savá: AED 175 classic gel plus AED 30 removal is AED 205. Smart gel at AED 230 plus removal is AED 260, which is AED 55 more for the Smart version.

- Next Level: (AED 230 plus AED 20 removal) times 1.05 is AED 262.50. With the AED 50 French or ombre finish, if it applies to feet, the total is AED 315.

- Polish Salon: AED 70 classic, AED 55 gel, AED 40 removal and AED 35 massage add up to AED 200 before any VAT.

The cheapest headline is not always the cheapest appointment, and the quick option is not the same service. Polish Salon describes its classic pedicure as 45 minutes and its Quick Pedicure as 15, so a lower price there buys a smaller job.

Savings that are real

Skipping polish is the clearest saving. Savá's classic pedicure without polish is AED 100, and it still includes a soak, exfoliation, nail care and hydration, so you pay AED 35 less than for the regular-polish version. Mimosa's feet cleaning is AED 85, AED 10 below its AED 95 regular-polish feet service.

Packages help a little, as long as you want both services. At Mimosa, the regular-polish hands-and-feet combo is AED 165 against AED 85 plus AED 95 separately, a saving of AED 15. The gel combo is AED 290 against AED 140 plus AED 160, saving AED 10 before removal. If you only wanted a pedicure, paying AED 290 for both costs far more than AED 160 for one, discount or not. Our guide to how much a manicure costs in Dubai helps you judge the hands side.

Savings that are not

Price alone tells you nothing about hygiene or skill, so do not trade checks for a lower bill. The American Academy of Dermatology suggests looking for clean workstations, handwashing between clients, clear tool-cleaning routines and properly disinfected foot baths and filters. It also advises against cutting or forcefully pushing back cuticles, and against shaving your lower legs for at least 24 hours before a pedicure, since nicks raise infection risk.

A branch you can reach easily also makes it more likely you will go on a schedule, and our notes on daily foot hygiene habits cover what to do between visits.

Know when a pedicure is the wrong spend

A cosmetic pedicure is about appearance and comfort. It is not a way to deal with a painful, swollen toe, pus, fever, broken skin or unusual nail changes. The NHS advises medical assessment for a painful, swollen toe with pus, fever or shivering, and for an ingrown toenail in anyone with diabetes. NHS Fife adds that people with diabetes should contact a podiatrist promptly for a red, warm or swollen foot, broken skin or discharge, because nerve damage can make serious problems painless.

In those cases, a cheaper salon upgrade is a false saving. See a doctor or podiatrist first, and read what a podiatrist can help with if you are unsure where to start.

Before you book, ask four things: is polish included, is removal extra, are the prices VAT inclusive, and how long is the appointment? With those answers, you can budget for the full visit.
